There’s nothing quite like sharing laughs and making personal connections with fans through stand-up comedy, and as one of the original Kings of Comedy, Steve Harvey returns to the foundation of his success to deliver his brand of cutthroat and straight-talking humor to communities across the country. Adding Gospel powerhouse Kirk Franklin adds another dimension to a night that will be filled with the foot-stomping, hand-clapping and evangelistic musical genius.

Beginning his stand-up comedy career in the mid-1980’s, Steve Harvey’s engaging personality, tell-it-like-it-is comedy, inspirational endeavors and passion for connecting and helping others have made him a beloved figure on stage, screen, radio and local communities nationwide.  Entertaining millions of men, women and children and speaking to their everyday lives, Steve Harvey has become one of the most multi-faceted and successful entertainers. He has won awards for the long-running stints he had hosting “It’s Showtime at the Apollo” and acting in his sitcom The Steve Harvey Show, as well asengaging more than seven million listeners in his long-running Steve Harvey Morning Show radio broadcast. As an author, his debut New York Times best-seller Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man, spent 64 weeks on the best-seller list.  His new book, Straight Talk No Chaser will be released on December 7, 2010.  Never one to slow down, Harvey just premiered his new TV show The Steve Harvey Project on Centric and is the new host of Family Feud.  For more information on Steve Harvey and his endeavors, please visit www.steveharvey.com.

Kirk Franklin changed musical history with the release of his debut album, Kirk Franklin and the Family, the first gospel album to sell more than a million units. In his bold attempt to broaden the range of the traditional gospel audience, Kirk Franklin was willing to take heat from the naysayers as long as it didn’t get in the way of delivering the inspired message. After more than 16 years as the top-selling Contemporary Gospel artist, Kirk Franklin shows no signs of slowing down. Many believe the secret to his continued success is rooted in his artistic genius of being innovative, relevant and authentic.

To date, the musical trendsetter has garnered seven GRAMMY® Awards, an American Music Award, 35 Stellar Awards, 12 Dove Awards (CCM), five NAACP Awards, two BET Music Awards, a Soul Train Award and numerous others. His yearly gig as host and producer of BET’s highly successful Sunday’s Best continues to prove that Franklin is a force to be reckoned with in all areas of music, media and television.  For more information on Kirk Franklin and his endeavors, please visit www.kirkfranklin.com
