TAMPA BAY - After a successful series of pre- and post-game concerts at select Tampa Bay Lightning home games throughout the season, the Lightning and the St. Pete Times Forum are proud to host the last concert of the fourth consecutive season of the Lightning Concert Series, presented by Beck’s Beer and sponsored by Adcoprint.com.

The Lightning Concert Series began in 2006 and has been a huge hit, attracting fans to enjoy additional entertainment after watching exciting Lightning hockey. The alternative rock group Saving Abel is set to release their upcoming spring album as they conclude this year’s series.
Saving Abel gradually came together in the small town of Corinth, Mississippi with the final electric lineup of guitarist Scott Bartlett, bassist Eric Taylor and drummer Blake Dixon. The band released their self-titled, major label debut album on March 11, 2008, which achieved certified gold status just one year later largely in part due to the strength of its hit single “Addicted,” which peaked at No. 2 on the U.S. Mainstream Rock Chart. The band is almost finished with their second full-length record and plans to return to the studio this month to record the last few tracks.
