Tickets Still Available for Star-Studded Tennis Event on March 22
Tampa Bay – A celebrity packed tennis lineup, featuring Andy Roddick, James Blake, Jim Courier and Victoria Azarenka, Vera Zvonareva and Rennae Stubbs come together for the fifth time when the St. Pete Times Forum hosts the Tampa Tennis Classic benefiting Courier’s Kids this Monday, March 22 at 7:30 p.m. Raymond James Courier’s Kids is an inner-city youth tennis program founded by Jim Courier that supports First Serve tennis programs.
On the men’s side, with 60 singles career titles between them, these three Davis Cup representatives are sure to wow the crowds in Tampa in a battle of the stars. Representing the women, Azarenka is currently ranked number seven on the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour, while Zvonareva is currently ranked number nine and holds nine singles titles. Rennae Stubbs recorded her twelfth straight (and 13th overall) Top 10 doubles finish in 2009.
VIP packages are currently available and include the best seats in the house and numerous other perks. The VIP Reception Package includes a reserved Courtside ticket and access to the Player Reception prior to the event. Taking place at 6:00 p.m. prior to the Tampa Tennis Classic, the Reception will feature a Q&A session with some of America’s biggest names in tennis. Also available is the Grand Slam Package which includes a reserved center-court Row A ticket in the plaza level, dinner at the Medallions Restaurant, and a reserved parking pass. Overlooking the views of Downtown Tampa, the restaurant will be open and available to package holders from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
