NewsWomen of Faith Continues 2010 Nation’s Largest Event for Women to Feature Powerful Line-up of
TAMPA BAY – GRAMMY nominee and “American Idol” finalist Mandisa and Lisa Whelchel from TV’s “Facts of Life” will join a diverse group of special guests on the Women of Faith “Over The Top” tour at the St. Pete Times Forum on October 15-16, 2010. The event will be held on Friday, October 15 from 10:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. & 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m., and on Saturday, October 16 from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Nearly 10,000 women are expected to gather from Tampa and the surrounding areas for a much-needed opportunity to connect with one another and experience encouragement as a diverse array of music artists, authors, and performers take the stage in a weekend designed to offer a refreshing getaway filled with laughter and hope. Attendees will not only hear from long-time Women of Faith speakers, but also become acquainted with new voices on the Women of Faith roster. The Tampa event will feature music artists, speakers and special guests, including “Good Morning America” special correspondent and comedian Anita Renfroe, Patsy Clairmont, Marilyn Meberg, award-winning Christian female vocalist Sandi Patty, GRAMMY-nominated “American Idol” finalist Mandisa and Lisa Whelchel from TV’s popular show “Facts of Life,” among others.
