ST. PETE TIMES FORUM CONTINUES "COMMUNITY FRIENDLY FRIDAY" THIS WEEK
TO BENEFIT THE CITY OF TAMPA PARKS AND RECREATION
Participants in Supply Drive will receive Free Storm Tickets and Special Ticket Discounts to Other Shows
TAMPA BAY – The St. Pete Times Forum will continue its community call to action this Friday, June 4 in an effort to collect donations on behalf of the City of Tampa Parks and Recreation. “Community Friendly Friday” is a program created to help drive donation campaigns orchestrated by local non-profit organizations across the Tampa Bay area. Every other Friday throughout the summer, the St. Pete Times Forum will host a special community initiative on behalf of these groups. Those donating will receive a voucher redeemable for four tickets to a Tampa Bay Storm home game,plus additional ticket offers throughout the campaign.
This week, donors are encouraged to bring a good to the St. Pete Times Forum Box Office from 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. The following items are amongst the most needed: board games (for ages 5 – 17), jigsaw puzzles (for ages 5 – 17), G-rated DVD movies, Lego blocks (large and small), balls (basketballs, baseballs, playground balls, footballs, Nerf balls, tennis and gator balls), baseball gloves, baseball bats, craft supplies, small gardening tools and small planting pots. Also, the City of Tampa Parks and Recreation staff will be on hand Friday morning to provide information regarding its programs and summer camps.
Donors are encouraged to arrive early, as the first 50 participants will receive a voucher good for one complimentary ticket to WWE SmackDown on June 8 at 6:45 p.m. (limit one per household).

The City of Tampa Parks and Recreation is responsible for providing the community with a wide variety of recreation programs, planning for and maintaining dynamic park facilities, and managing City open space for a multitude of users.

"This is a genuine opportunity for people to get involved and to give our youth more summertime opportunities.
