Tampa Bay Lightning to host a Post-game Concert Featuring Submersed's Donald Carpenter
3/24/2008

The Tampa Bay Lightning will host a post-game concert featuring an acoustic set by Submersed’s
Donald Carpenter on the Chrysler-Jeep Plaza immediately following the Tampa Bay Lightning v. Carolina Hurricanes game next Saturday, March 29, at 7:30 pm. Carpenter will also perform a song during the 1st intermission of the game. Game and concert packages pricing are as follows:

$69.00 Includes a lower level seat to the Lightning v. Carolina, unlimited food, beer, wine and soda and access to see Donald Carpenter Live - following the game.
$32.00 Includes a terrace level seat to the Lightning v. Carolina game and
access to see Donald Carpenter Live – following the game.

Donald Carpenter, with his powerful vocals and uncanny knack of completely engaging an audience, is the lead singer and front man of Submersed. His voice is one of the more distinctive in this genre of music today. With a vocal range that is not quite the norm for harder-edge bands, Carpenter’s beautiful falsetto range peaks at levels which rival that of a classically trained vocalist. The band Submersed is a guaranteed rare occurrence of good ‘ol Texas indie harmoniously colliding with rock & roll. Submersed’s first album "In Due Time", produced the hit rock single "Hollow", that contributed to the sale of over 100,000 copies. The band’s latest album Immortal Verses (Wind-Up Records) was released September 18th, 2007.

A portion of the proceeds from tickets purchased through www.myspace.com/Submersed website, and a portion of Submersed merchandise sales will benefit the Francis House, as local homeless shelter. Additionally, donations will be accepted at the post-game concert. Further information on the Francis House can be found at http://www.francishouse.org.
