NewsStone Temple Pilots kick off Lightning Launch Weekend at the St. Pete Times Forum October 8
The Grammy Award-winning Stone Temple Pilots (STP) will kick off Lightning Launch Weekend at the St. Pete Times Forum on October 8 at 7:30 p.m. The fun-filled weekend will include the STP concert on October 8 and the Tampa Bay Lightning’s 2010 Home Opener on October 9 at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets to the STP concert are available to the general public now, and most seats are only $20. Lightning ticket plan holders are eligible to receive free tickets to the concert, as well as an invitation to attend an exclusive party on the Club Level of the St. Pete Times Forum. The private VIP party will feature food and beverage specials and will begin at 5:00 p.m. Lightning Launch Weekend marks the first time in franchise history that the organization has created a fan weekend in celebration of opening night. Fans will have the opportunity to greet Lightning broadcasters, personalities and alumni, as well as Thunderbug and the Lightning Girls. Attendees will also be able to enter-to-win great prizes. This one-of-a-kind event is the perfect way for fans to show their appreciation for the team, and celebrate the opening of the 2010-11 Lightning season. Tampa Bay opens its 18th National Hockey League season on Saturday, October 9 when they play host to the Atlanta Thrashers at 7:30 p.m. Tickets: Tickets for the Stone Temple Pilots concert are on sale now at the St. Pete Times Forum Box Office and all Ticketmaster Outlets. Tickets are priced at $20.00, $47.00 and $57.00. Prices do not include facility fees or service charges.
