NewsSt. Pete Times Forum Ranks as a Top Ten Venue in U.S. for 10th Consecutive Year Pollstar – the international newsweekly of the music industry, and one of the concert industry’s leading publications, released a report this week on ticket sales for the third quarter of 2007. The St. Pete Times Forum, in its tenth year of operation, ranked as the number eight venue in the United States, and twenty-second in the world, with a total of 246,406 tickets sold to concerts, events and family shows for the period of 1/1/07 – 9/30/07. The study ranked the top 100 venues in the world by actual ticket sales for concert events and family shows. This will mark the 10th consecutive year that the venue has ranked in the top 10 arenas in the United States in this category.
During the first half of 2007 the St. Pete Times Forum has hosted a variety of world-class acts including Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus, Bob Seger, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Justin Timberlake, My Chemical Romance, Disney on Ice, and American Idols Live. The remainder of 2007 looks just as promising with a line-up of events including Hannah Montana, Keith Urban, Bon Jovi and with many more exciting events to be announced.
