NewsBarack Obama to hold rally at the St. Pete Times Forum The presidential campaign of US Senator Barack Obama today announced he would kick-off his three-day campaign swing through Florida with a rally at the St. Pete Times Forum in downtown Tampa on Wednesday afternoon. Obama’s trip to Florida begins the day after the Oregon primary where Obama is expected to surpass the majority of pledged delegates needed to claim the Democratic nomination for President. “Senator Obama is looking forward to campaigning in Florida and discussing the clear choice voters will have in the general election, between his vision for bringing America together to change Washington and Senator McCain’s plan to extend many of the failed Bush policies for another four years,” said Obama campaign spokesman Josh Earnest. On Wednesday evening, Obama will campaign in the Orlando area before traveling to South Florida for campaign events on Thursday and Friday.
