NewsSt. Pete Times Forum teams with PROSHRED to offer Green Day ticket discount as part of Green Plan As a part of its award-winning Green Plan, the St. Pete Times Forum has teamed up with PROSHRED Security to offer fans a budget saving opportunity. Fans purchasing tickets to Green Day’s 21st Century Breakdown Tour on Monday, August 3, are invited to bring out any old paper products to be shredded. The shredded materials will then be recycled and fans will be given a voucher for $15 off select tickets to be purchased at the McDonald’s Box Office at the St. Pete Times Forum. This “Going Green with Green Day” campaign is designed to encourage fans to bring unwanted phone books, school papers, newspapers or work documents to the St. Pete Times Forum, Monday, August 3, and have them recycled on the Jeep-Chrysler Plaza. PROSHRED Security will have a recycling truck parked on the west plaza of the venue, located outside the McDonald’s Box Office, at 5:00 pm. The St. Pete Times Forum continues to be a community leader in recycling and energy conservation. The recycling of used phone books saves a large amount of space in harmful landfills annually. PROSHRED Security is a local business that offers secure shredding services for companies in the Tampa Bay area. Roughly seven million people become victims of identity theft every year. To receive the discount, fans must purchase at the McDonald’s Box Office at the St. Pete Times Forum after receiving the coupon on the day of the show.
