Sugarland's CD/DVD Package Top the Billboard Charts

Country duo scheduled to visit the St. Pete Times Forum on September 25, 2009, 7:30pm
TAMPA BAY- Wednesday night Sugarland's new Wal-Mart exclusive CD/DVD package "Live on the Inside" landed in the number one spot on the Billboard Top 200 chart, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
The duo’s “Live on the Inside” CD/DVD package debuted at the top of the charts following its release exclusively at Wal-Mart on August 8, 2009. Their new CD boasts covers of the most popular songs in music such as hits by Beyonce, the B-52s, and Pearl Jam as well as Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush’s own Grammy-winning hits. The included DVD features all five of their number one tracks and over an hour of concert performance footage. “Live on the Inside” is the pair’s second number one album in just over a year. Their previous CD, “Love on the Inside” hit high marks on the chart as well in just the second week of its release in 2008.
In addition, Sugarland tops the Billboard Top Country albums for “Live on the Inside” just above Gloriana and Taylor Swift. This week they have also experienced dramatic increases in the sales of all three of their previous records.
Sugarland will be performing live with special guests Jake Owen and Matt Nathanson at the St. Pete Times Forum September 25, at 7:30pm. The performance will feature songs from the “Love on the Inside” CD/DVD package, along with all their hits.
