Amazing Race Stars - Flight Time Lang and Big Easy Lofton - Reunite with Teammates in Tampa to Bring Harlem Globetrotters to St. Pete Times Forum on February 25

Tampa Bay - Harlem Globetrotters Flight Time Lang and Big Easy Lofton, who recently competed in the Emmy Award-winning CBS reality hit, “The Amazing Race,” will reunite with their world famous teammates in Tampa at the St. Pete Times Forum, February 25, 2010. From making memories on primetime TV to making memories in arenas, Lang and Lofton will embark on the Globetrotters’ 2010 “Magical Memories” World Tour.
 
With a television audience of millions watching on CBS primetime each Sunday night, Flight Time and Big Easy battled 11 other teams and successfully raced in 11 suspenseful episodes – finishing first in two legs – reaching the final four before being eliminated with only one episode remaining.
 
Flight Time, Big Easy and the Globetrotters are scheduled to appear at the St. Pete Times Forum on Thursday, February 25 at 7:00 p.m. Tickets start at $25.00 and are available online at www.ticketmaster.com or . Entering his 11th season in 2010, Flight Time is one of the team’s top ball handlers, while Big Easy enters his fifth campaign and is one of the Globetrotters entertaining showmen.  Both played college basketball in Louisiana and have been close friends for over five years.
 
The Globetrotters’ run on “The Amazing Race” is just the latest in a series of primetime appearances for the pop culture icons in the last nine months, as the Globetrotters have had guest spots on popular television series “Hell’s Kitchen,” “Jon & Kate Plus 8” and “The Bachelorette,” as well as “The 61st Primetime Emmy Awards.”
 
The world’s most famous basketball team is coming off its most successful year in the franchise’s illustrious history, with a record-breaking 62 box office records and over two million smiling fans in 2009.
